I’ve noticed overthinking gets worse the more input I have. When I reduce noise even slightly, my thoughts feel a lot clearer.

I really appreciate how you frame overthinking not as a lack of faith, but as a very human struggle that faith can sit with and gently guide, rather than erase. It’s a helpful reminder that the mind isn’t an enemy to be shut down, but something to be redirected with trust, patience and compassion. In my own work on overthinking I see the same pattern: it becomes harmful when it tries to do what trust is meant to hold. Reading this through a spiritual lens adds a nuance I find really valuable.
